Question 1

What do left rear 2025 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2025 FORD EXPLORER with left rear damage, the median was $17,300, from $12,400 to $25,350. That is 15% above the $15,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,250 a good price for this 2025 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

1775 comparable 2025 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $15,100, spanning $6,850 to $24,100. At $16,250 this one went 8% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2025 FORD EXPLORER. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 6,024 miles high for a 2025 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2025 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 12,903 miles across 1775 sales, so at 6,024 miles this one sits 53% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EXPLORER has left rear and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2025 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was AUTO CLUB OF SOUTHERN CA (ACSC). Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
