Question 1

What do unknown 2020 FORD EXPLORER models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPLORER with unknown damage, the median was $6,800, from $3,400 to $11,925. That is 4% above the $6,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,100 a good price for this 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

4918 comparable 2020 FORD EXPLORER listings sold at auction for a median of $6,550, spanning $4,000 to $10,900. At $3,100 this one went 53% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD EXPLORER from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OR - WOODBURN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 50,457 miles high for a 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EXPLORER listings at auction averaged 86,514 miles across 4918 sales, so at 50,457 miles this one sits 42% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2020 FORD EXPLORER?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was CITY COUNTY INSURANCE SERVICES. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2020 FORD EXPLORER come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
