Was $3,400 a good price for this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION?

212 comparable 2016 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,850, spanning $3,100 to $7,500. At $3,400 this one went 12% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a clear-ar mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2016 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clear-ar. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in AR - SCOTT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 440 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Who sold this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION?

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Did this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with engine damage damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
