Question 1

What do front end 2022 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 363 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD EXPEDITION with front end damage, the median was $11,588, from $5,700 to $18,600. That is 12% below the $13,188 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $13,175 a good price for this 2022 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

697 comparable 2022 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $13,188, spanning $6,100 to $23,200. At $13,175 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 37,818 miles high for a 2022 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 63,480 miles across 697 sales, so at 37,818 miles this one sits 40% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2022 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was GEICO. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
