Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2019 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 47 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPEDITION with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,400, from $5,800 to $13,100. That is 17% above the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,500 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1478 comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,400 to $11,600. At $7,500 this one went 4% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $23,519. It sold for $7,500 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

Is 118,399 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 112,345 miles across 1478 sales, so at 118,399 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
