Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2022 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD EXPEDITION with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $20,575, from $13,350 to $23,900. That is 57% above the $13,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $20,850 a good price for this 2022 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

722 comparable 2022 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $13,100, spanning $6,100 to $23,200. At $20,850 this one went 59% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - SCHENECTADY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 80,340 miles high for a 2022 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 64,056 miles across 722 sales, so at 80,340 miles this one sits 25% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
