Question 1

What do hail 2020 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 85 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPEDITION with hail damage, the median was $12,075, from $7,000 to $17,500. That is 47% above the $8,238 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MT - MISSOULA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 77,339 miles high for a 2020 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 98,075 miles across 1365 sales, so at 77,339 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD EXPEDITION has hail and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
