Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EXPEDITION with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $10,600, from $3,350 to $17,650. That is 175% above the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This FORD EXPEDITION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in AZ - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 147,851 miles high for a 2016 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 120,390 miles across 208 sales, so at 147,851 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 FORD EXPEDITION was listed at IAAI as lot 42672935 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
