What do front end 2023 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Across 436 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD EXPEDITION with front end damage, the median was $14,400, from $6,800 to $24,900. That is 10% below the $16,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $26,000 a good price for this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION?

796 comparable 2023 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $16,000, spanning $7,250 to $27,250. At $26,000 this one went 63% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

The insurer put this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $49,733. It sold for $26,000 — 48% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

The lot sat at COPART in MA - NORTH BILLERICA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 220 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $275-$400, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2023 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

This 2023 Ford Expedition MAX XLT, finished in a sleek silver exterior, was sold at auction for $26,000 on November 6, 2024. With a robust 3.5L V6 engine paired with an automatic transmission, this rear-wheel drive SUV offered a powerful and smooth driving experience. The vehicle had an odometer reading of 37,665 miles, indicating moderate use. While the Expedition featured enhanced specifications that included advanced safety features and spacious interior comfort, it sustained significant front-end damage that required attention. This damage, while noted, did not detract from the overall appeal of the vehicle, given its relatively low mileage and the reputation of the Ford brand for durability and performance. The auction took place in North Billerica, MA, and the vehicle's VIN is 1FMJK1H80PEA16853. In summary, this 2023 Ford Expedition MAX XLT presented a strong value proposition for buyers looking for a capable and spacious SUV, despite the noted front-end damage.
