Question 1

Was $8,950 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1497 comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,400 to $11,600. At $8,950 this one went 24% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a salvage mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 102,039 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 112,732 miles across 1497 sales, so at 102,039 miles this one sits 9% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EXPEDITION has right rear and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Where was this FORD EXPEDITION located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in AK - WASILLA. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.
