Question 1

What do rear 2018 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 34 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD EXPEDITION with rear damage, the median was $7,450, from $5,600 to $11,500. That is 6% above the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 131,463 miles high for a 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 125,465 miles across 1480 sales, so at 131,463 miles this one sits 5% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 FORD EXPEDITION was listed at IAAI as lot 46440194 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
