Question 1

What do all over 2018 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 18 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD EXPEDITION with all over damage, the median was $5,700, from $4,550 to $9,300. That is 19% below the $7,038 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This FORD EXPEDITION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 98,751 miles high for a 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 124,917 miles across 1370 sales, so at 98,751 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - SAN DIEGO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
