Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2017 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD EXPEDITION with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $8,100, from $3,900 to $15,050. That is 105% above the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD EXPEDITION. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This FORD EXPEDITION has normal wear & tear and transmission damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 212,972 miles high for a 2017 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 116,734 miles across 514 sales, so at 212,972 miles this one sits 82% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was CHARITABLE ADULT RIDES & SERVICES. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD EXPEDITION come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
