Question 1

What do front end 2023 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 431 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD EXPEDITION with front end damage, the median was $14,275, from $6,800 to $24,650. That is 10% below the $15,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2023 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

789 comparable 2023 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $15,900, spanning $7,100 to $27,250. At $8,900 this one went 44% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 47,985 miles high for a 2023 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 50,356 miles across 789 sales, so at 47,985 miles this one sits 5% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD EXPEDITION has front end and transmission damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
