Question 1

What do rear 2021 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 16 recorded sales of the 2021 FORD EXPEDITION with rear damage, the median was $12,000, from $7,300 to $15,400. That is 28% above the $9,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,675 a good price for this 2021 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1045 comparable 2021 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $9,400, spanning $4,900 to $16,450. At $8,675 this one went 8% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in OH - VERMILION. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 430 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2021 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 114,676 miles high for a 2021 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2021 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 85,627 miles across 1045 sales, so at 114,676 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2021 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
