Question 1

What do hail 2020 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 85 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EXPEDITION with hail damage, the median was $12,075, from $7,000 to $17,500. That is 47% above the $8,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This FORD EXPEDITION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CO - LUBBOCK. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,030 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $675-$975, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 129,182 miles high for a 2020 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 98,321 miles across 1374 sales, so at 129,182 miles this one sits 31% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
