Question 1

What do hail 2019 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 93 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EXPEDITION with hail damage, the median was $10,000, from $6,400 to $14,900. That is 39% above the $7,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,975 a good price for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1531 comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $7,200, spanning $4,400 to $11,600. At $11,975 this one went 66% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD EXPEDITION has hail and none damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 106,308 miles high for a 2019 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 112,689 miles across 1531 sales, so at 106,308 miles this one sits 6% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
