Question 1

What do front & rear 2018 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 30 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD EXPEDITION with front & rear damage, the median was $6,050, from $3,950 to $8,900. That is 14% below the $7,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,900 a good price for this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

1443 comparable 2018 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $7,000, spanning $4,250 to $10,500. At $4,900 this one went 30% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD EXPEDITION sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MS - GRENADA. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 180 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $225-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 105,204 miles high for a 2018 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 125,576 miles across 1443 sales, so at 105,204 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
