Question 1

What do hail 2016 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 30 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EXPEDITION with hail damage, the median was $4,525, from $3,250 to $6,700. That is 18% above the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TN - MILLINGTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 125,362 miles high for a 2016 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 120,390 miles across 208 sales, so at 125,362 miles this one sits 4% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
