What do front end 2016 FORD EXPEDITION models sell for?

Across 75 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EXPEDITION with front end damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,150 to $5,600. That is 1% below the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION?

213 comparable 2016 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $3,850, spanning $3,100 to $7,500. At $3,950 this one went 3% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EXPEDITION sell for?

The insurer put this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION's pre-damage retail value at $10,316. It sold for $3,950 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2016 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

This FORD EXPEDITION has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
