Was $5,600 a good price for this 2015 FORD EXPEDITION?

14 comparable 2015 FORD EXPEDITION listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,250 to $6,900. At $5,600 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

What does a original-tx mean for this FORD EXPEDITION?

This 2015 FORD EXPEDITION was sold on a original-tx. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

How far is this FORD EXPEDITION from an export port?

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - HAWLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Is 134,543 miles high for a 2015 FORD EXPEDITION?

Comparable 2015 FORD EXPEDITION listings at auction averaged 148,046 miles across 14 sales, so at 134,543 miles this one sits 9% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 FORD EXPEDITION. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Did this 2015 FORD EXPEDITION come with keys?

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
