What do rear end 2019 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Across 168 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD ESCAPE with rear end damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,100 to $5,100. That is 3% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Was $4,600 a good price for this 2019 FORD ESCAPE?

1888 comparable 2019 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $7,100. At $4,600 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD ESCAPE sell for?

The insurer put this 2019 FORD ESCAPE's pre-damage retail value at $20,165. It sold for $4,600 — 77% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

What does a salvage title mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

This 2019 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Is 52,778 miles high for a 2019 FORD ESCAPE?

Comparable 2019 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 66,285 miles across 1888 sales, so at 52,778 miles this one sits 20% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
