Question 1

What do mechanical 2017 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 37 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD ESCAPE with mechanical damage, the median was $3,688, from $3,000 to $5,000. That is level with the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - JACKSONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 124,505 miles high for a 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 78,191 miles across 1878 sales, so at 124,505 miles this one sits 59% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2017 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with mechanical damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 FORD ESCAPE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 FORD ESCAPE was listed at COPART as lot 67840665 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
