Question 1

What do left side 2017 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 61 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD ESCAPE with left side damage, the median was $3,363, from $3,025 to $4,550. That is 9% below the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This FORD ESCAPE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

Is 68,701 miles high for a 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 78,249 miles across 1875 sales, so at 68,701 miles this one sits 12% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 FORD ESCAPE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 FORD ESCAPE was listed at IAAI as lot 46177653 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
