Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2019 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 88 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD ESCAPE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,150 to $7,500. That is 1% above the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,100 a good price for this 2019 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

1877 comparable 2019 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,100 to $7,200. At $7,100 this one went 80% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a certificate of title (p) mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a certificate of title (p). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD ESCAPE has minor dent/scratches and normal wear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 33,243 miles high for a 2019 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 66,346 miles across 1877 sales, so at 33,243 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
