Question 1

What do all over 2018 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2018 FORD ESCAPE with all over damage, the median was $3,500, from $3,050 to $4,600. That is 9% below the $3,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This FORD ESCAPE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

Is 135,718 miles high for a 2018 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 72,814 miles across 2033 sales, so at 135,718 miles this one sits 86% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2018 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1FMCU9HD7JUB55289?

Accepted Answer

1FMCU9HD7JUB55289 identifies this specific 2018 FORD ESCAPE in blue with a 1.5l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, regular , 179hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 FORD ESCAPE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 FORD ESCAPE was listed at IAAI as lot 46224245 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
