Question 1

What do left front 2022 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 63 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD ESCAPE with left front damage, the median was $5,025, from $3,450 to $7,200. That is 1% below the $5,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,800 a good price for this 2022 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

3084 comparable 2022 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $5,100, spanning $3,350 to $9,100. At $6,800 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IL - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

This FORD ESCAPE has left front and right front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 5,648 miles high for a 2022 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 49,747 miles across 3084 sales, so at 5,648 miles this one sits 89% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
