Question 1

What do water/flood 2020 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 44 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD ESCAPE with water/flood damage, the median was $4,150, from $3,100 to $6,600. That is 6% below the $4,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,650 a good price for this 2020 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

4194 comparable 2020 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,400, spanning $3,200 to $7,700. At $3,650 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD ESCAPE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 FORD ESCAPE's pre-damage retail value at $16,944. It sold for $3,650 — 78% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - FRANKLIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 6

Did this 2020 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
