Question 1

What do mechanical 2019 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 56 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD ESCAPE with mechanical damage, the median was $5,900, from $3,400 to $9,900. That is 49% above the $3,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,050 a good price for this 2019 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

1867 comparable 2019 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,950, spanning $3,100 to $7,200. At $3,050 this one went 23% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD ESCAPE has mechanical and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 97,473 miles high for a 2019 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 66,197 miles across 1867 sales, so at 97,473 miles this one sits 47% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
