Question 1

What do rear 2017 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 83 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD ESCAPE with rear damage, the median was $3,513, from $3,050 to $4,200. That is 4% below the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 79,235 miles high for a 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 77,871 miles across 1857 sales, so at 79,235 miles this one sits 2% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD ESCAPE has rear and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was INSPECTION SERVICES - DONEGAL INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
