Question 1

What do left side 2017 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 61 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD ESCAPE with left side damage, the median was $3,363, from $3,025 to $4,550. That is 9% below the $3,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,850 a good price for this 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

1875 comparable 2017 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,700, spanning $3,050 to $5,900. At $9,850 this one went 166% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a bill of sale mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a bill of sale. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WA - SPOKANE VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Tacoma, roughly 60 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 61,781 miles high for a 2017 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 78,249 miles across 1875 sales, so at 61,781 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2017 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left side damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
