Question 1

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - SPOKANE VALLEY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 150,627 miles high for a 2016 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 81,167 miles across 398 sales, so at 150,627 miles this one sits 86% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Who sold this 2016 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was PROGRESSIVE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 5

Did this 2016 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with all over damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 1FMCU9GX7GUC20646?

Accepted Answer
