Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 53 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD ESCAPE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $4,000, from $3,100 to $5,300. That is 10% above the $3,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a clean title mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in ME - LYMAN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 400 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $350-$475, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

Is 120,967 miles high for a 2016 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 81,235 miles across 412 sales, so at 120,967 miles this one sits 49% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1FMCU9GX3GUB50059?

Accepted Answer

1FMCU9GX3GUB50059 identifies this specific 2016 FORD ESCAPE in silver with a 1.6l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2016 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
