Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2016 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 43 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD ESCAPE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $4,075, from $3,150 to $7,700. That is 13% above the $3,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 202,992 miles high for a 2016 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 81,038 miles across 396 sales, so at 202,992 miles this one sits 150% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2016 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 1FMCU9GX1GUC45249?

Accepted Answer

1FMCU9GX1GUC45249 identifies this specific 2016 FORD ESCAPE with a 1.6l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, regular , 178hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 FORD ESCAPE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 FORD ESCAPE was listed at IAAI as lot 46551154 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
