Question 1

What does a original (texas) mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a original (texas). The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 2

This FORD ESCAPE has hail and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 93,504 miles high for a 2015 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 88,434 miles across 55 sales, so at 93,504 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2015 FORD ESCAPE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Who sold this 2015 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Infinity Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2015 FORD ESCAPE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2015 FORD ESCAPE was listed at IAAI as lot 37871505 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
