Question 1

What do flood 2023 FORD ESCAPE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 19 recorded sales of the 2023 FORD ESCAPE with flood damage, the median was $6,988, from $4,100 to $9,950. That is 13% above the $6,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,700 a good price for this 2023 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

2123 comparable 2023 FORD ESCAPE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,200, spanning $3,600 to $10,900. At $9,700 this one went 56% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

This 2023 FORD ESCAPE was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2023 FORD ESCAPE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 3,760 miles high for a 2023 FORD ESCAPE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2023 FORD ESCAPE listings at auction averaged 36,552 miles across 2123 sales, so at 3,760 miles this one sits 90% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this FORD ESCAPE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in FL - CLEWISTON. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
