Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2022 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 38 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD EDGE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $16,550, from $7,000 to $21,850. That is 159% above the $6,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,000 a good price for this 2022 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2072 comparable 2022 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,400, spanning $3,800 to $12,200. At $5,000 this one went 22% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD EDGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - CASEYVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 28,280 miles high for a 2022 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 56,917 miles across 2072 sales, so at 28,280 miles this one sits 50% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
