Question 1

What do mechanical 2020 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 69 recorded sales of the 2020 FORD EDGE with mechanical damage, the median was $5,200, from $3,400 to $9,300. That is 12% above the $4,650 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,950 a good price for this 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2966 comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,650, spanning $3,300 to $7,800. At $3,950 this one went 15% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clear mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 FORD EDGE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 148,277 miles high for a 2020 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 74,179 miles across 2966 sales, so at 148,277 miles this one sits 100% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

This FORD EDGE has mechanical and unknown damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
