Question 1

This FORD EDGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a nl-non-repairable-newfoundland and labrador mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 FORD EDGE was sold on a nl-non-repairable-newfoundland and labrador. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 3

This FORD EDGE has engine fire and interior damage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

What can I find out from VIN 2FMPK4K97KBB23884?

Accepted Answer

2FMPK4K97KBB23884 identifies this specific 2019 FORD EDGE in brown with a 2.0l i-4 di, dohc, vvt, turbo, premium , 250hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2019 FORD EDGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2019 FORD EDGE was listed at IAAI as lot 12702785 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
