Question 1

What does a ab-salvage-alberta mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 FORD EDGE was sold on a ab-salvage-alberta. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

This FORD EDGE has front and left front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 166,281 miles high for a 2018 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 91,688 miles across 1588 sales, so at 166,281 miles this one sits 81% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this FORD EDGE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at IAAI in ALBERTA - SEXSMITH. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Did this 2018 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN 2FMPK4K89JBB00757?

Accepted Answer

2FMPK4K89JBB00757 identifies this specific 2018 FORD EDGE in black with a 3.5l v6 fi dohc 24v nf4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
