Question 1

What do normal wear 2017 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD EDGE with normal wear damage, the median was $4,450, from $3,300 to $8,400. That is 14% above the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,750 a good price for this 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

1494 comparable 2017 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $6,000. At $3,750 this one went 4% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $12,300. It sold for $3,750 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AR - CONWAY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 440 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $375-$525, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 138,228 miles high for a 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 93,755 miles across 1494 sales, so at 138,228 miles this one sits 47% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD EDGE has normal wear and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
