Question 1

Was $4,550 a good price for this 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

955 comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,738, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $4,550 this one went 22% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $20,335. It sold for $4,550 — 78% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage (minnesota) mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage (minnesota). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This FORD EDGE has right front and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 83,907 miles high for a 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 97,485 miles across 955 sales, so at 83,907 miles this one sits 14% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
