Question 1

What does a on-salvage-ontario mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EDGE was sold on a on-salvage-ontario. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This FORD EDGE has front and right front damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 142,517 miles high for a 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 97,533 miles across 948 sales, so at 142,517 miles this one sits 46% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 FORD EDGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 FORD EDGE was listed at IAAI as lot 12719376 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
