Question 1

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

179 comparable 2015 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,500, spanning $3,350 to $6,300. At $3,000 this one went 33% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this FORD EDGE sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2015 FORD EDGE's pre-damage retail value at $16,659. It sold for $3,000 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a clear (indiana) mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 FORD EDGE was sold on a clear (indiana). A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 101,722 miles high for a 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 112,686 miles across 179 sales, so at 101,722 miles this one sits 10% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This FORD EDGE has left front and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
