Question 1

What do front end 2019 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 17 recorded sales of the 2019 FORD EDGE with front end damage, the median was $6,125, from $4,575 to $8,275. That is 38% above the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,100 a good price for this 2019 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2912 comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $7,200. At $9,100 this one went 104% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 43,637 miles high for a 2019 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 84,951 miles across 2912 sales, so at 43,637 miles this one sits 49% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This FORD EDGE has front end and left & right side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Who sold this 2019 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Progressive Casualty Insurance. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
