Question 1

What do front end 2017 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 530 recorded sales of the 2017 FORD EDGE with front end damage, the median was $3,800, from $3,100 to $5,800. That is 3% below the $3,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,575 a good price for this 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

1481 comparable 2017 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,900, spanning $3,100 to $6,000. At $7,575 this one went 94% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage-in mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 FORD EDGE was sold on a salvage-in. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IN - INDIANAPOLIS. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 600 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$725, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Did this 2017 FORD EDGE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
