Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2016 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 32 recorded sales of the 2016 FORD EDGE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $3,700, from $3,150 to $4,750. That is level with the $3,713 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,500 a good price for this 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

957 comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,713, spanning $3,075 to $5,300. At $8,500 this one went 129% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 FORD EDGE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in GA - ELLENWOOD. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 123,165 miles high for a 2016 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 97,518 miles across 957 sales, so at 123,165 miles this one sits 26% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
