Question 1

What do hail 2015 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2015 FORD EDGE with hail damage, the median was $5,850, from $4,375 to $7,450. That is 30% above the $4,500 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,450 a good price for this 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

165 comparable 2015 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,500, spanning $3,325 to $6,125. At $4,450 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a cert of title-salvage vehicle mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2015 FORD EDGE was sold on a cert of title-salvage vehicle. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 126,402 miles high for a 2015 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2015 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 112,661 miles across 165 sales, so at 126,402 miles this one sits 12% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2015 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in MI - FLINT. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 550 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $475-$650, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
