Question 1

What do normal wear & tear 2022 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 38 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD EDGE with normal wear & tear damage, the median was $16,550, from $7,000 to $21,850. That is 159% above the $6,400 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $16,950 a good price for this 2022 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2067 comparable 2022 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,400, spanning $3,800 to $12,200. At $16,950 this one went 165% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This FORD EDGE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in IA - GRIMES. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 1,000 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $650-$950, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 76,444 miles high for a 2022 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 56,780 miles across 2067 sales, so at 76,444 miles this one sits 35% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2022 FORD EDGE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 FORD EDGE was listed at IAAI as lot 42467477 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
