Question 1

What do minor dent/scratches 2022 FORD EDGE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 44 recorded sales of the 2022 FORD EDGE with minor dent/scratches damage, the median was $8,100, from $4,450 to $13,000. That is 29% above the $6,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,900 a good price for this 2022 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

2098 comparable 2022 FORD EDGE listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,800 to $12,100. At $6,900 this one went 10% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 FORD EDGE was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

Is 135,593 miles high for a 2022 FORD EDGE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 FORD EDGE listings at auction averaged 57,345 miles across 2098 sales, so at 135,593 miles this one sits 136% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this FORD EDGE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - NEW BRITAIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 FORD EDGE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
